Image annotation update

When the little image annotation tool was launched the other week I got asked a couple of questions about it:
Cool, but er what can use it for?
I've used tools like this two ways:- To gather comments and feedback on print ads I'm testing. Where by this has formed on part of a larger research study.
- To get feedback off clients when sending them wireframes or designs. So as part of the web development process I'll often send a client a design and get them to highlight what they like, dislike etc.
How do i use the damn thing?
The UI on this isn't obvious to people who have never used anything like this before. In this latest update I've added some instructions which should make getting to grips with tool a bit easier. Are you going to release the code?
Yep, I've tided it up a little and you can download it at the bottom of this post. It's a Drupal module so you'll need a Drupal site to use it. To install the module:- Make sure your got the CCK content copy and image field module installed. To save on time I coded this as CCK content type rather than a full blown standalone node module. The content copy module needs to be installed before the image annotate module - not at the same time.
- Upload the image annotate module to your modules directory.
- Enable the image annotate module.
- Your done, you'll see a new content type called Annotated Image and away you go.
If you haven't seen the tool in action you can check out a demo here.
